This large room under the mansard roof is both cozy and bright. Decorated in ivory, beige and burgundy floral, you'll find the king bed welcoming, and plenty of room to sit and gaze out the windows. The antique bath has been fully modernized, yet we've kept the best of centuries past with marble topped sink and antique claw footed soaking tub/shower. Like all our top floor rooms, there is no one above you, although if you like we can open the adjoining door to room 301, and make a lovely family suite. Plenty of room here for a cot as well.

Enjoy your morning coffee watching the sun rise over the White mountains from your two windows. You'll see four ranges of the White Mountains, starting at the Daltons in the far north, then on to the Presidentials, through the nearby rugged Franconia range, and on to the Kinsman range. You'll see Mt Washington (the highest peak in the North East), Cannon Mountain (for great skiing), Mt Lafayette (and the entire Franconia ridge, home of part of the Appalacian trail), and three of our famous 'notches' (Crawford, Franconia, and Kinsman). Can you spot the formation we call the 'sleeping baby'? Watch the sun rise or the alpine glow at sunset. The view is stunning. Look out your windows at dusk or dawn and see if you can spot a moose, deer, bear or wild turkey.
